Today I learned how to use Jing, a program similar to the snipping tool. Jing allows me to capture images from the internet, modify or annotate them, and then save them to my desktop or save the link to the object to my clipboard. This is immensely helpful. With this function, I can integrate charts or pictures that have already been created, and then tailor them to my specific needs within the classroom.

This skill falls within ISTE NETS 3D: "model and facilitate effective use of current and emerging digital tools to locate, analyze, evaluate, and use information resources to support research and learning." This skill will allow me to use and manipulate a wide variety of resources to teach my class through different mediums.
