Jing Video Capture

This is a video I created using Jing. This video brielfy demonstrates how to graph X and Y values in Microsoft Excel by using a scatterplot, and shows how to create a linear trendline and linear regression equation.

This function of Jing is incredible. I can see how this function could usher in a new era of instruction via the internet. This would especially come in handy when instructing parents how to access grades, or instructing students how to access assignment postings, etc.

This coincides with NETS 3: Model Digital-Age Work and Learning, especially sub-element "d", which states ,"model and facilitate effective use of current and emerging digital tools to locate, analyze, evaluate, and use information resources to support research and learning." Jing allos me to create a video that can visually assist studens or adults with new technological concepts (like in the case of my video, with Microsoft Excel).
