Spreadsheet activity

Today we learned some basic functions of Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Excel is an effective way to store, calculate, and diplay data. It is also a helpful tool when analyzing data, or making predictions based upon data. To see a Microsoft Excel document that shows the AVERAGE function within Excel, click here.

This skill coincides with ISTE NETS 3a, 3c, and 3d. These standards revolve around "Modeling Digital-Age Work and Learning." Excel allows one to "demonstrate fluency in technology systems", "communicate relevant information and ideas", and "model and facilitate effective use of current and emerging digital tools to locate, analyze, evaluate, and use information resources to support research and learning."
